Terms of service

The terms that govern your use of AI Content Desk.

Effective · 13 July 2026Last updated · 13 July 2026

1. Overview

These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and AI Content Desk(“we”, “us”, or “our”). By creating an account or using the service, you accept these Terms.

AI Content Desk is a subscription service for producing SEO content through research, briefing, drafting, evaluation, and revision. These Terms are written for business use; where mandatory consumer-protection rights apply, they are unaffected.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a contract. Provide accurate account details, keep your login credentials secure, and take responsibility for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at legal@aicontentdesk.com if you suspect unauthorised use.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use AI Content Desk to:

  • create or distribute unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or harmful content;
  • violate the intellectual-property or privacy rights of others;
  • generate content prohibited by our AI providers’ usage policies;
  • send spam or deceptive content, or misrepresent authorship where disclosure is required;
  • reverse-engineer, scrape, resell, or overload the service.

We may suspend or limit accounts that breach these Terms, are used unlawfully, or are not paid for.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed monthly and renew automaticallyuntil cancelled. Each renewal grants that plan’s monthly credit allotment. We will give reasonable advance notice of any price change.

You can cancel at any time from the billing page using Manage subscription (the Stripe Customer Portal). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then. Cancelling is as easy as signing up.

5. Credits and purchases

Plans include a monthly credit allotment. It resets to the plan amount on your renewal date and does not roll over — unused plan credits do not carry into the next period. Any welcome credits included with your first subscription are added to that same allotment and follow the same rules, so they are available during your first billing period and do not carry over. One-time credit packs are separate: they are non-expiring and remain on your account indefinitely. Plan credits are drawn down first, so pack credits are used only after your monthly allotment is exhausted.

Spending credits of any kind requires an active subscription. If your subscription ends, your credits are kept — purchased credits still never expire — and your account remains available in a read-only state, so you can open and export the work you have already created. Your credits become spendable again as soon as you resubscribe.

Credits are the unit of work for workflow actions, have no cash value, and are non-transferable. Operations that fail validation are not charged.

6. Refunds and cancellation

For digital services and credits supplied immediately, you may be asked at checkout to consent to immediate performance and to waive the 14-day right of withdrawal. Where that right applies and has not been waived, you may request a refund for unused services within 14 days.

You can cancel a subscription at any time to stop future renewals. Credits already used are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. Unused credits are not refunded or exchanged for cash when a subscription ends: unused plan credits lapse with the period, and purchased credits stay on your account indefinitely and become spendable again if you resubscribe.

7. Taxes (VAT)

Applicable VAT is calculated from your location and shown at checkout by Stripe Tax. The pricing page identifies whether displayed prices include VAT or VAT is added at checkout. Business customers can enter a valid VAT ID at checkout; eligible cross-border EU B2B purchases are handled under the reverse-charge mechanism, and a compliant invoice is provided.

8. Your content and AI output

You keep ownership of the inputs you provide, and, as between you and us, you own the content the service generates for you. You grant us a limited licence to process your inputs in order to operate the service. We own the platform, software, and brand.

AI-generated output is provided as is and may be inaccurate or unsuitable. You are responsible for reviewing, fact-checking, and lawfully using output, including meeting any obligation to disclose that content is AI-generated where the law requires it.

9. Service availability and changes

We work to keep the service available and reliable, but it is provided without a specific uptime commitment unless we agree one separately in writing. We may add, change, or remove features, and any beta or preview features are offered as is.

10. Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided as is, and we exclude indirect, incidental, and consequential losses, including lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our total aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your mandatory statutory rights.

11. Termination

You can stop using the service and cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for a material breach of these Terms, non-payment, or unlawful use. On termination, your right to use the service ends; we will provide a reasonable opportunity to export your content before deletion, subject to law.

12. Resolving disputes

If you have a concern or dispute, contact legal@aicontentdesk.com first so we can try to resolve it informally.

If we cannot resolve it, either party may bring a claim before a court or tribunal that has jurisdiction under applicable law. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer-protection rights or dispute remedies available to you in your country of residence.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new version here and, where changes are material, notify you in advance. Continuing to use the service after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Contact

AI Content Desk provides the service described in these Terms. For legal notices or questions about these Terms, contact legal@aicontentdesk.com.
